The Sports Awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate students who have excelled in Interfaculty and Tertiary sports throughout the year. This year we were able to hold the event in person at the Hyundai Marine Sports Centre.

Sailing has continued to be a popular activity for University of Auckland students all year round.
The UNIM8S Social Sports Leagues remain as popular as ever, with over 1,500 students taking part throughout 2022.
After a year of national tertiary sport, the University of Auckland defended its title of National Tertiary Champions and was awarded the UTSNZ shield for the sixth year in a row.
